Federal Way Symphony
presents a Chamber Music Concert, 2:00 pm, ? and
featuring Concertmaster Yuriy Mikhlin and Guest
Artist Mark Salman, Piano.
St. Luke's Church in
Federal Way.
April 18:
Jet Cities Chorus
presents "Friends and
Family Night"! Come see us as we give preview performances of our regional competition
package. Quartets will be performing as well.
Wesley Terrace Retirement Center; Des Moines, WA.
Two performances: 7:30 and 8:30 pm. Free!
April 18:
Jet Cities Chorus
competes in Round 1 of the Puyallup Spring Fair's
Choir and Ensemble
Competition! Competition begins at 2:00 pm with Youth
entrants; Jet Cities will perform sometime between 4:30 and
6:30 pm. Winners advance to Round 2 on April 19, at 7:00 pm.

April 19:
Showstoppers Dance Group
annual production,
"Dear Mom, I've Run Away To Join The
Circus"; 6:00 pm, at the Knutzen Family Theatre
in Federal Way.
April 20:
Aria Dance Company
and
Showstoppers Dance Group
performances at the Puyallup
Spring Fair. Dancers will be at the Great American
Stage and will be performing from 2:15 - 3:15 pm.
April 26-27:
Federal Way Chorale
will be performing with the Auburn Symphony when they present
"The
Bohemian Life",
Saturday at 7:30 pm and
Sunday at 2:30 pm, at the
Auburn Performing Arts Center. The program includes
Smetana, from "Bohemia's Woods and Fields", The Moldau,
and The Bartered Bride with orchestral, vocal
and choral excerpts.
Soloists: Holly Boaz, Wesley Rogers, Erich Parce.

May 3-4:
Federal Way Symphony
presents their Season Finale Concert; 7:30 pm on May 3; 2:00
pm on May 4. Featuring Guest Artist Yi Huang, Violin,
performing Brahm's Violin Concerto.
St. Luke's Church in Federal
Way.
May 9-June 1:
Centerstage Theatre
presents
"My Fair Lady", Fridays and Saturdays
at 8:00 pm; Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm. Price by age: $8
to $25. Knutzen Family Theatre
in Federal Way. If there were ever a contest for the greatest
musical of all time, then surely 'My Fair Lady' would be in
the running. This masterpiece has been charming audiences
since it first appeared in 1956. Centerstage's version,
reduced to the size of the original Pygmalion, promises to be
very different...but every bit as joyful!
May 30-31:
Pacific Ballroom
Dance presents their Spring Concert, "Feelin' Good"
on May 30 and 31st at the Auburn Performing Arts Center. The
Friday show starts at 7:00 pm and Saturday shows will be at
1:00 and 7:00 pm. Ticket prices are $10.00 for the matinee and
$15.00 for the evening shows. This exciting 90-minute show is
filled with all types of dances from the Elegant Waltz and
energetic Swing to the sassy Mambo, and even a fast-paced
Quickstep. Over 150 youth in our program have been working
hard all year to put together this show. You don't want to
miss it!

the concert version of Porgy and Bess along
with traditional folk songs such as Ezekiel
Saw De Wheel and Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. 8:00
pm;

Way. Tickets are $18 general,
$15 student/senior, children 12 years and under are

presents their annual show, "Harmony in the
Northwest", at 1:30 and 6:30 pm, at the
Auburn Performing Arts Center, Auburn WA.

features the Harmony Kings and their special guests from
around the area: Jet Cities
Chorus (Federal Way) and
Groove for Thought
(South Sound). Stay tuned for more surprises, too!
